Happy President’s Day

Feb 20, 2012   //   by Devlin   //   Blog  //  No Comments

It is time to remember the works of two great men who fought for the cause of liberty and freedom, President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln. What better way than with their own words. The cause of freedom is never finished, let’s all roll up our sleeves and follow in their footsteps.

Sit back and watch these amazing time lapse videos of the stars and the earth. It is hard not to become mystical seeing the heavens and all creation unfold before Tom Lowe’s lens.

The footage was shot for his upcoming film “TimeScapes,” a modern portrait of the American Southwest.

The Night We Were Kings

The Night We Were Kings”  is truly beautiful short animated film by five students, Chloé Nicolay, Mandy Wyckens, Anthony Lejeune, Gaspard Sumeire, and Léa Justum, from the Gobelins School of Image in Paris, France. It is so rich and poignant. A wonderful reminder of what it is to be young and in love. NSFW, brief animated nudity.

Best Superbowl Game Ever

Feb 5, 2012   //   by Devlin   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Today is the big day for fans of American Football. I love the spectacle of this quasi-national holiday. I’m not a big fan of either team, the Giants or the Patriots, so I hope it’s a good game. But I found this great video on YouTube showing the best Superbowl ever, in my opinion, the Rams beating the Titans in 1999. Of course being a lifelong Rams fan has nothing to do with my opinion, yep totally unbiased.
