5 Underrated Movie Scores
I am a big fan of listening to movie scores. I’ve always found them to be great accompaniment when I’m working on designs and layouts. Classical, Jazz, Electronic, VaporWave, and Lounge are also great genres to design to. But as a big fan of the movies I am particularly drawn to move scores.
There are so many great composers and scores that are well known, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Wendy Carlos and more recently Hildur Guðnadóttir. They are all fantastic but here are a few movie scores that I am particularly fond of that aren’t as well known and should be more popular:
The Black Hole by John Barry
Gremlins by Jerry Goldsmith
Quo Vadis by Miklós Rózsa
The Dark Crystal by Trevor Jones
Space is the Place: Music from the Film by Sun Ra
