Inspirational Design Talk: Jessie Kawata
This October I was lucky enough to attend the fantastic 2017 AIGA conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was a very inspirational conference. Sadly, I didn’t have a chance to attend the Eye on Design conference, held the day before the main conference started.
After watching some of the newly released videos of the talks, I am really regretting that! Next year, I’ll have to attend both the regular conference and the Eye on Design. Especially after great talks like the one by designer Jessie Kawata. Check out her cool talk about design principles, visual thinking and storytelling can can help solve problems and inform a wide audience.
Hopefully her work at Microsoft will be as out of this world as her work at NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
