Zion Canyon Observation Point
One of my favorite views of all time Zion Canyon from the top of Observation Point. Highly recommend it if you happen to visit Zion National Park.
The hike from the canyon floor to observation hike is really fantastic hike. Full of slot canyons, amazing vertigo inducing views, and it is so worth it. Unfortunately a major rockfall buried the trail in 2019 and it has been closed since then. Hopefully someday it can be cleared and the trail repaired.
You can still get to the viewpoint from a trail outside the park, which can be accessed on a bumpy dirt road, it’s a nice hike through high desert junipers, and is lovely. But it doesn’t compare to the amazing hike to the top along the canyon walls.
