I thought it is time to let my loyal ten readers (hi Mom!) know about my blog and what it is about. As a graphic and motion designer so I try to focus on design and culture and the meeting of the two. With this in mind I have, over the years I’ve developed a certian posting routine. Here is what you can usually expect in terms of posts on any given week:
Monday
On Monday I like to share interesting animations, videos and motion graphics
Tuesday
Typography Tuesday, you’ll get to experience my love of type, typography, calligraphy, letters and letter forms.
Wednesday
I like to review books or write about the theory and practice of Graphic Design.
Thursday
On Thursdays I usually post a quote from a graphic designer or artist on the craft, theory or practice of design or art.
Friday
Friday Freebies! I give away something I’ve created for free. Images, textures and so on.
Saturday
Saturday posts are a tad on the myopic side. I use this as a way to promote my work or my thoughts.
Sunday
On Sundays, I like to write posts about how artists create their work. as well as a digest of my twitter posts. I am a voracious twitter user, so if you want to keep up with what I’m up to that’s usually the best way. Follow me!
Please note, that while I try to stay with this schedule, some days I don’t have much time or little to say and will miss an installment as life and other projects get in the way. Please forgive me for this or doing something else as some other topic seems pressing that I want to share or write about. Remember this blog is a labor of love and I hope it can contribute to the world of design and culture in some way.
