After a lovely evening circumnavigating Seattle’s famed Greenlake, I was returning to my automobile and noted this interesting basket hanging from a gate in front of an otherwise unremarkable and quaint bungalow.

I am not sure if it was a forgotten bit of Halloween decor that had been up for almost 10 months, and early start on All Hallows Eve, or warning for solicitors. Either way a creepy doll and fake (I hope) rat skeleton make an interesting welcome!
