Batman Goof
On my favorite website ever, History Link, THE website of Seattle and Washington State history, I saw the other day that it was the anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone for the Northern Life Tower in Seattle (August 10, 1928). That is one of my favorite buildings in the Emerald City, so Art Deco, so modernist.
For me I always felt it looked like it should be in Batman’s Gotham City. So I had to embellish it to show how the building always looks to me. It’s not the building Seattle needs, it’s the building Seattle deserves. Okay, that might be a bit of a stretch for a joke but why should we be so serious, about architecture? HA!
