Cool Use of Augmented Reality
This is a cool use of augmented reality at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center. They had tablets that turned their static map of Puget Sound watersheds into interactive AR experiences. They augment the base physical map with AR overlays that enhance the viewers experience by letting them learn about weather, volcanology, and other features that can’t be easily show on the static display or informational displays.
This is a great use of AR, it really can enhance learning and I love how it gives more life to a large static display. Really cool idea from the folks at the Science Center.
