Design 366
Happy New Year. It’s a new year and a new you as they say. I few years ago I did a daily design challenge and it was very useful. So I’ve decided to do it again. I’ll try to create a daily design and post it on my blog for all 366 days in 2024.
The guidelines are are pretty loose, it only that it has to be visual.. It’s pretty loose for what I’ll do for medium. It could be anything including a quick illustration, a watercolor painting, a short animation or video, or even mock ups, posters, or packaging. Pretty much whatever seems fun and challenging to do at the time.
This is intended to practice my skills, learn something new, to make something, and just to have fun. So join me over this year and let’s see what we can come up with.
First up, a little goof to start the ball rolling. Playing with shapes, colors, and some tweaks of the cool font Acier BAT designed in 1930 by Cassandre with revival from Jean-Baptiste Levée.
