I started playing with Open AI’s Sora a bit. It is a very interesting if extremely unreliable tool, that gives you wildly different takes off of the prompts. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

I was testing with just prompts to see how it could render and interpret historical events. Here’s a quick test using the prompt “Create a scene set in Seattle in 1918 showing the general strike that happened with workers walking off the job on the rainy docks of Seattle.”

I’m not quite sure how it determines how long your clip is and the text in it, why it adds VO if I didn’t ask. Lots of way for it to go, but it’s interesting.
