Populares vs Optimates
Tonight I thought I could experiment with some features I saw at an event I went to at the Adobe offices last week.

I started by making a random boomerang shape in Illustrator.

I mirrored it and combined it into a single shape. I then selected the shape and gave the generative shape fill the prompt, “Ancient Roman soldiers at attention.

This is one of the prompts it came up with. Not sure if it’s that great, are they supposed to have 3 legs? Or is that a cape, or is it, um, something else? yikes.

I tweaked it a bit and made this quick and dirty thing. An interesting little experiment with AI in illustrator.
