Schweitzer Outlook Hotel Ski Resort
Nestled in the Northern Idaho mountains outside of Sand Point Idaho you’ll find the fantastic ski resort Schweitzer Mountain Resort. It’s a really nice place to go skiing with great trails and amenities. One of the amenities, the basement of the resort’s Lakeview Lodge is full of deep red lockers for season pass holders to rent and store their gear.
Going down there to I kept having the eerie feeling that I was in some weird corner of the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King’s book and Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece The Shining. Definitely some liminal space creepiness going on down there…
