State Facts for Students from the US Census Department
This is a pretty cool site from the US Census Department. They have a great little dashboard about each US State with fun facts and data. A great introduction to the data analysis and information that kids will love. I live if you click the explorer it opens the data into a fun interactive infographic. Perfect for younger kids to explore versus using the tables and charts. What a great idea.
Also now I know Washington State’s state dance is the Square Dance! Who knew?
