Recently I read the fascinating book “The Greatest Knight: The Remarkable Life of William Marshal, the Power Behind Five English Thrones” by Thomas Asbridge. It was wonderful, one of my favorite asides was the remark about “Roland the Farter.” A jester who could leap in the air, whistle, and pass gas simultaneously. Thought it’d be fun to illustrate that with the help of some AI tools.
