Sonics Guy Serendipity
I’ve wrote about Kris Brannon, “the Sonic’s Guy before, and I was surprised, heartened, and a little saddened to stumble upon a life sized cut out of him as I was exiting Climate Pledge Arena. This is the name of the renovated Key Arena, home of the long lost and lamented Seattle SuperSonics.
We were leaving through one of the stairwell exits, not a major exit, just one we stumbled upon, and there he was. It was kismet perhaps that we took that exit only to find Kris. His reassuring smile seemed to say, don’t worry, someday they will return or be reborn.
