Stupid Marketing Terms… “blah blah Evangelist”

Random thought for the day,  I ha the term evangelist when it comes to technology. I get it you’re an expert, but evangelist? Ugh…

Adobe loves doing this, I think they make great tools, but when I watch videos hosted by a “Principle Evangelist, Photoshop and Lightroom” I just roll my eyes and reminded of this classic bit of wisdom from George Carlin:

“People add words when they want things to sound more important than they really are. “Boarding process.” Sounds important; it isn’t. It’s just a bunch of people getting on an airplane! People like to sound important.”
